SENECA, SC – BASF’s site in Seneca recently donated $1,000 to the Wild Hearts Equine Therapeutic Center in Oconee County, and a team from BASF participated in the organization’s fundraising golf tournament.

The donation will be used to provide low or no-cost services for people with physical, intellectual or emotional challenges, including people dealing with trauma, behavioral or social issues, at-risk youth and victims of abuse, as well as active duty military personnel and veterans. Wild Hearts Equine Therapeutic Center, Inc. is a non-profit company that helps foster physical, emotional and behavioral growth by creating powerful connections between people and horses. They offer customized equine-assisted learning and therapeutic riding programs based on Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH) practices, Trust-Based Relational Intervention principles and a philosophy of horsemanship rooted in softness.
