Jeffrey Blair, Vice President of Acquisitions Integration

Reston, Va. — December 23, 2021 — Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. (“Bowman”), (NASDAQ: BWMN), has named Jeffrey Blair, PE, vice president of acquisitions integration. Blair, also a company principal, has served in both key corporate and operations positions over the past 18 years at Bowman.

Blair has more than 30 years of consulting experience with site and infrastructure development projects in the mid-Atlantic and southeastern United States for both public and private sector clients. His diverse background and keen understanding of the needs of a varied client base have allowed him to enjoy successful business relationships with local, state and federal governments, healthcare providers, residential and commercial land developers, telecommunications and industrial clients.

“After we became a public company, we have expanded the organization in a very intentional way,” said Bowman CEO Gary Bowman. “We knew we needed someone with Jeff’s knowledge and talent as the full-time head of acquisitions integration to ensure each acquisition goes smoothly for the firms we’re acquiring and for Bowman. Jeff will work in lockstep with Executive Vice President of Acquisitions Tim Vaughn to identify and bring in firms to the organization.”

Together, as Bowman continues acquiring other firms, Vaughn and Blair will help ensure the maximum value of the acquired firm by retention and engagement of staff and successful integration of functions and business operations.

According to Trish Hollar, Bowman’s executive vice president of human capital, “We knew we needed to have a full-time dedicated leader and department assigned to this initiative.”

“I’ll be a champion and ambassador to our new firms, so their transition to Bowman is seamless and a positive experience for everyone involved and in all aspects of our business,” Blair added. “My role and my team will help us better serve our clients by service line and location and make everyone’s job easier. There were 200 people at Bowman when I joined the firm, and now there are more than 900.”

Since the company became public in May 2021, Bowman has acquired four engineering companies including:
● McFarland-Dyer & Associates in Atlanta, Ga.
● Triangle Site Design in Raleigh, N.C.
● PCD Engineering, Inc., Denver, Colo.
● BTM Engineering, Inc. in Louisville, Ky.

“Jeff has been an invaluable asset to Bowman, and his new role provides a huge opportunity for us as we experience enormous growth and continue to offer civil engineering and other key services across the country,” added Hollar.
Blair earned his associate degree in Civil Construction Technology at Belmont Technical College in Ohio, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University. He’s registered as a professional engineer in North Carolina and South Carolina.
