Cullum Constructors, Inc. would like to congratulate Graham (Gray) Stewart on his successful completion of the Mechanical Drafter Apprenticeship. Stewart and his robotics team impressed Cullum leadership at the April 2019 Mechanical Contractors Association of South Carolina membership meeting. Thanks to a collaborative effort between Trident Technical College, the South Carolina Department of Labor, Cullum, and Apprenticeship Carolina, a new Youth Apprenticeship Program for Mechanical Drafters was born. Stewart began contributing fully to the team very quickly. He completed the required competencies and education requirements in just 3,500 hours of on-the-job training, instead of the expected 6,000. Stewart holds an Associate Degree from Trident Technical College in Drafting General Technology-Engineering Design Graphics, achieving a certificate in Computer-Aided Design as well as a certificate in Mechanical Drafting.
