Charleston, S.C. – RMF Engineering today announced the appointment of Don Zimmerman as the firm’s newest stockholder.

Zimmerman, PE, CEM, at RMF in South Carolina has nearly 30 years’ experience with RMF and in the fields of design, engineering and management of a wide range of mechanical engineering projects. The majority of his experience has involved large utility infrastructure projects, including new and retrofitted central power plant projects and utility distribution systems for large government, institutional, and health care facilities. Zimmerman’s utility experience includes geothermal heating and cooling, as well as biomass applications. He has also designed several other types of mechanical systems including HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, fuel oil, control, and several types of specialized systems.
