Jacob Darnell
COLUMBIA, SC, November 18, 2021— Thomas & Hutton is pleased to announce the following new hires in its Columbia office.
Jacob Darnell joined Thomas & Hutton’s Civil Department as a Designer. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at University of South Carolina. His professional experiences in industrial construction and manufacturing include 3-D modeling and design of various industrial systems. As a Civil Designer, Jacob’s responsibilities are to prepare site development construction drawings, engineering design considerations for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure, and permit applications associated with industrial projects.
In his spare time, Jacob enjoys watching sports, spending time on the lake with friends, hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
Brian Boyer joined Thomas & Hutton’s Columbia Civil Department as a Designer. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. As a Designer in the Water Resources Department, Brian’s responsibilities include preparing site development, construction drawings, engineering design considerations for water, sewer and storm drainage infrastructure, and permit applications associated with residential, commercial, and or industrial projects.
In his spare time Brian enjoys talking about sports, being on the lake and Clemson football.
Jeff Mascarella joined Thomas & Hutton’s Columbia Civil Department as a Designer. He received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, and a certificate in Geospatial Science and Technology from Youngstown State University. Jeff will assist his project team with site design and is currently working on the Scranton Substation and other projects in Prospects, Laurens County.
Outside of the office, Jeff loves spending time with his family, and is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland sports teams’ fan.
