Watson Tate Savory Promotes Mitch Newbold, AIA to Associate.

Watson Tate Savory is pleased to announce the naming of our newest associate, Mitch Newbold, AIA. Mitch has served as project architect and team leader on award-winning work across a variety of project sectors including higher education, mixed-use, hospitality, and government.

Current projects include the South Carolina Center for Architecture, the winning entry of a 2016 AIA South Carolina design competition, and Midlands Technical College’s Advanced Welding Center.

He serves as a mentor to younger staff, ensuring that projects are well documented and detailed. Along with being named Associate, Mitch will assume the role of firmwide technology leader.

As part of that role, he will continue to lead the firm’s research and development efforts in technology and 3-D modeling integration. He holds a Master of Architecture from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Southern Illinois University.
